Alicia is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. She competed internationally as an olympic synchronized swimmer. She moved to the U.S. for college where earned her BS in Nutritional Science from the University of Arizona and her MS from Northeastern University. She now lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two daughters.
She is passionate about improving health and the well-being of every patient she encounters. She enjoys talking with our patients with different backgrounds and learning about different foods and cultures. She loves growing her own vegetables in her garden, exploring new foods and trying new recipes in her kitchen. Her favorite vegetables are beets, avocados and sweet potatoes.
