Alicia is a Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Registered Dietitian from Monterrey, Mexico. She competed internationally as an Olympic synchronized swimmer. She moved to the U.S. for college where earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Science from the University of Arizona and her Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition from Northeastern University. She is a proud wife and mother of two daughters. She is passionate about improving the health and well-being of every patient she encounters. She enjoys talking with our patients from different backgrounds and learning about different foods and cultures. Alicia excels in type I and II diabetes, pediatrics, tube feeds, and integrative nutrition.
She loves growing vegetables in her garden, exploring new foods, and trying new recipes in her kitchen. Her favorite vegetables are beets, avocados, and sweet potatoes.
