Diala is a registered dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science Nutrition, a Post Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, and a Master’s degree in Nutritional Science. Diala is originally from Amman, Jordan. Diala’s experience spans a diverse range of clients from neonatal intensive care unit patients to the elderly. She has provided consultations and education to patients with a variety of conditions including diabetes, kidney failure (dialysis), overweight/obesity, eating disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, underweight, malnutrition, childhood obesity, and food allergies. Additionally, she has assisted with tube-feeding patients.
Diala is passionate about helping patients reach their goals and enjoys working with all types of patients at Nutrition As Therapy. In her free time, Diala is also passionate about helping aspiring dietitians achieve their goals and tutors students to pass the RD board exam.
Diala likes to explore plant-based meal options, and her favorite meal is breakfast overnight oats.
