Karli is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer living in San Luis Obispo, CA. Karli became interested in nutrition in high school once she understood its important role in helping her improve her performance in various sports. She then went on to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and completed her dietetic internship there as well.
Currently, Karli is still at Cal Poly pursuing her Master’s degree in Nutrition where she is conducting research on the impact of strawberries on heart and gut health in postmenopausal women. Karli has a passion for nutrition research. She has been following a vegan eating pattern for 4 years now and loves developing new recipes and experimenting with different food combinations.
Outside of school and work, Karli loves long-distance running, weight-lifting, and spending time at Avila beach. Her favorite food is Vegan Pad Thai!
