Luciana Wuo Perasso
Luciana Perasso is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from Miami, Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University and then went on to get her Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Nova Southeastern University.
Luciana specializes in plant-based eating patterns and has been following one for over 9 years. She decided to become a registered dietitian after she experienced firsthand how much a plant-based diet can impact one’s well-being. She is passionate about making nutrition “digestible” and enjoyable to others. At Nutrition As Therapy she enjoys working with patients with medical conditions such as eating disorders, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, fatty liver disease, chronic kidney disease, and cancer.
Outside of work, she likes to keep active by weight training, loves trying new breakfast recipes, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Luciana’s favorite food is avocado toast with pickled onions and tempeh bacon.
