Yesenia Chediak is a bilingual, Spanish-speaking Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from Miami, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics & Nutrition and a minor in Psychology from Florida International University.

Yesenia has gained most of her experience working with women, infants, children, and adolescents. While working with this population, she experienced firsthand how most parents were concerned their children would reject animal-based proteins and were intolerant and/or allergic to cow’s milk products. After much research, she became plant-based and can attest to the health benefits associated with consuming plant-based foods. Yesenia loves working at Nutrition As Therapy to be able to share her experience and knowledge to help others reach their nutrition goals.

Yesenia believes creating balanced meals which include a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables is the key to optimal health. “Quantity, quality, and frequency of the foods you eat can have a direct impact on how you feel and your overall health.”

Outside of work, she enjoys camping with her family and playing sports. Her favorite meal is veggie tacos with sautéed mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, and squash!
