Basia Huicochea is a nutritionist who grew up in Mexico. She now lives in Long beach, California. She earned her degree in nutrition and is a certified diabetes educator in Mexico and has a passion to help patients incorporate their culture into their new food changes.

At Nutrition As Therapy, Basia excels in weight management, cardiovascular disease, Type II diabetes, and mixed hyperlipidemias.

In her free time likes to read, go hiking, and take on adventures with a mountain bike riding group.

Her favorite meals are cactus leaf salad, enfrijoladas, and bean tamales!
