Úrsula Hempel Mesalles
Ursula Hempel is a Registered Dietitian from Costa Rica. She found her passion for nutrition when she was only 13 years old which motivated her to pursue her career in the United States of America. Ursula earned her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her dietetics license in the state of Florida. After graduating, she understood the importance of having a healthy relationship with food along with a healthy eating pattern. Therefore, she now specializes in plant-based & forward nutrition, mindful and intuitive eating to help her patients find balance. She also excels in integrative and functional nutrition, clinical dietetics, and GI disorders.
In her spare time, she loves to cook healthy recipes, read and go to the beach! Her favorite snack is whole wheat toast with homemade peanut butter and strawberries.
